Terms of Service
Last updated October 23, 2026
These terms apply when you use the Gitterdone website at www.gitterdone.org and the Gitterdone app at app.gitterdone.org (together, "Gitterdone"). Gitterdone is made by Buena ("we", "us"). By using Gitterdone, or by creating an account for yourself or for your team, you agree to these terms. If you agree on behalf of a company, you confirm that you can bind it to them.
1. The service
Gitterdone is a work-management app for teams: tasks, views, time tracking, check-ins, games and Beeby, an AI teammate. Some features are marked "Soon" or "Coming soon"; they are not part of any plan until we release them. We keep improving Gitterdone and may add, change or remove features.
Private beta. Gitterdone is in private beta. During the beta it is still being tested: features may change, break or be removed, and the service may be interrupted. We may end the beta, or a team's beta access, at any time.
2. Accounts
You need an account to use the app. Keep your sign-in details safe and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account and, if you are a workspace administrator, for the people you invite.
3. Plans and prices
During the private beta, the Free plan is open to any team, with as many users as it needs, at no cost and for a limited time: until the private beta ends. Access is automatic after you enter your work email on our website and verify it using the link we send you. Before the beta ends we will tell you by email, explain the plans available and give you time to choose one or to export your work.
Standard and Super are coming soon and cannot be bought yet. When they launch, they will be priced per user, per month, as shown on our plans page; guest viewers who only look at progress will not be counted as users. Prices are in US dollars and do not include taxes, which may apply. Game add-on prices are available on request; add-ons marked "Coming soon" cannot be bought yet.
4. Free month, billing and cancellation
This section applies once paid plans launch. There is nothing to pay during the private beta.
- Free month. Standard and Super start with one free month for your whole team. You can change plans or cancel before it ends.
- Renewal. Unless you cancel, a paid plan continues after the free month and renews every month at the price shown for your plan and number of users, until you cancel.
- Changes. Upgrades apply right away. Downgrades and cancellations apply at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
- Refunds. Fees already paid are not refundable, except where the law requires a refund.
- Price changes. If we change the price of your plan, we will tell you in advance, and the new price applies from your next billing period.
- Downgrades and your data. Nothing is deleted when you downgrade. Features outside your new plan become read-only until you upgrade again.
5. Offer for the first 20 beta agencies
The first 20 agencies that join the private beta get 50% off their paid plan for 6 months once paid plans launch, in exchange for a 30-minute feedback call each month. After those 6 months the regular price applies. We may change or end the offer for new sign-ups at any time.
6. Your content
You own the tasks, files, recordings and other content you add to Gitterdone. You give us permission to host, process and show that content only as needed to run Gitterdone for you and your team. Content you add to a shared workspace can be seen by its members according to their access. Our app Privacy Policy explains how we handle it.
7. Beeby and other AI features
Beeby and other AI features draft tasks, steps, summaries and suggestions from the context you give them. AI output can be wrong or incomplete: review it before you rely on it. Do not enter information you do not want processed by our AI providers, which are listed in the app Privacy Policy.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use Gitterdone to break the law, infringe other people's rights, send spam, upload malware, try to access accounts or data that are not yours, overload or attack the service, or copy or resell it. We may suspend accounts that do.
9. Our property and your feedback
The Gitterdone name, logo, website, app and their content belong to Buena or its licensors. These terms do not give you any right to use them beyond using Gitterdone. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
10. Other services
Gitterdone can connect to services such as Google Calendar, Slack, GitHub and AI providers. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
11. Disclaimers and limits of liability
Gitterdone is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not promise that Gitterdone will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim about Gitterdone is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$100. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
12. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Gitterdone and cancel your plan at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering Gitterdone; when we can, we will tell you in advance and give you a chance to export your content.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you before it takes effect. If you keep using Gitterdone after that, the new terms apply.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them elsewhere.
